If you have insurance coverage for acupuncture or naturopathic medicine, we will bill your insurance for you as part of our services. If you do not have acupuncture or naturopathic medicine insurance coverage, we offer a 10% prompt pay discount as well as pre-paid treatment packages to those that are under-insured or need to reach a deductible. If requested, we can also provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement if you do not have insurance benefits.

New Patient Forms
Once an appointment has been booked, you will receive an email from CHARM PHR (our patient portal) prompting you to create an account. Once you have created the account, all new patient forms will be available through that portal. You must complete all electronic forms 24 hours before your first appointment. If we do not receive these forms on time, your appointment will be rescheduled.
Please read through the consent forms before your visit, you will be asked to sign these forms at your appointment. If you do not have access to the internet or have trouble creating an account, please give our office a call as soon as possible so we can assist you in any way we can,(425) 686-4498.
If you do not have acupuncture insurance coverage, you may qualify for our nonprofit, low-cost acupuncture clinic. To learn more about eligibility, please visit www.painreliefproject.org.
Services & Fees
- All fees based on the length and complexity of the visit. Fees are listed in a range as they reflect billed rates. Fees do not include additional procedures, lab tests, or supplements.
- Dr. Heintze does combined naturopathic and acupuncture visits. We are a conjunctive care clinic and work with you and your primary care.
- Your initial visit will include an in-depth intake, health history, and any necessary exam (the office visit) followed by your first acupuncture treatment.

A credit card will be required when booking your appointment, if your appointment is canceled within 24 hours before your scheduled appointment, or you do not show up for an appointment, your credit card will be charged a No Show/Cancellation Fee: $50
Payment, co-pays, and food allergy tests fees are due at time of service. We accept cash, personal checks, HSA cards, and credit cards.
Automobile Accident Injury and PIP Claims:
Starting Point Acupuncture and Wellness does accept motor vehicle accident claims. Please notify your auto insurance carrier of your visit to our office immediately. Notify our office immediately if an attorney is representing you. We will bill your auto insurance for you.
